More than 1,400 Louisianans are still without power late Friday afternoon after thunderstorms moved through the area, according to utility companies.
East Baton Rouge residents are experiencing the greatest impact, with over 600 customers affected, according to Entergy. Cleco reported 200 customers without power near Morgan City.
Other hotspots included East Feliciana, Livingston and St. John the Baptist parishes.
Entergy reminded customers to stay clear of downed power lines and debris.
