The Family and Youth Service Center is in the business of connecting the dots to make children and their families all they can be. We uplift families and children who are struggling and help them reach their full potential by providing access to services at a “one-stop family center” with multiple agencies who work seamlessly to provide support to empower families. The Family and Youth Service Center provides comprehensive support, resources, and opportunities that enable families and children to thrive in all aspects of their lives.
Through our partnering, on-site agencies and services, we aim to foster resilience, instill confidence, and cultivate a sense of belonging within the Greater Baton Rouge area. We believe in the power of education, mentorship, and advocacy to break barriers and create pathways to success for every child and family.

FYSC currently has multiple agencies and they are still growing with room to hold other family centered agencies and services. When a family comes to one agency they are welcomed by all and have access to all services in one convenient location. Agencies include: Capital Area Family Justice Center with agencies and services populating their building; TASC (Truancy Assessment Service Center); EBRSO Crime Victims Assistance; Unbound Now; Louisiana Organization for Refugees and Immigrants; Teens R Everything; Mayo Behavioral; Travail 6:33 Food Bank; Fathers on a Mission; the welding shop for Front Yard Bikes; TRUCE.
